Created by layering 1/8" (3mm) laser cut and engraved wood over a painted wooden background, this eye-catching typographic world map can be optionally customized with your chosen locations highlighted on the map. Each and every map is made to order.This stylish map is the perfect home decor or gift for world travellers, or anyone just wanting a unique world map to hang on the wall!
By selecting the custom location(s) option you can highlight your home, location of family or anywhere else you choose. The highlighted locations are featured in circular maps linked to their exact location with natural twine connected to laser cut wood 'pins' - Please see the image gallery for an example. Each custom map is printed in vintage effect colors matching the wood. The coordinates of each custom location can also be printed within the circular map.
This world map is 45 cm (17.7 inches) wide and 35 cm (13.78 inches) high. It comes with a brass picture mount fixed in the center of the plywood back. The map weighs approximately 1.3 lbs (590 grams).

When purchasing, if you select one of the 'Custom Locations' options (you can select up to 5 locations), please write your custom information in Order special instructions / Custom Information during checkout! Alternatively you can email us at info@simplycutart.com if you have any questions or requests regarding your order.
After receiving your order for the world map we will create a draft of your artwork and email it to you to check over. If everything is correct we will then proceed to cut, engrave and print your artwork and ship it to your door!
