This design is created using three individual layers of precision laser cut and engraved 1/8" (3mm) wood to create a 3D blueprint image of the classic VW T3 Camper Van (Westfalia or Vanagon).
The canvas roof of the T3 camper is created using a separate piece of raised card finished in a subtle vintage ink effect around the edges. The simple combination of wood and card is very effective at showing the interior of the T3 Camper in a way which would be impossible with a regular print.
A raised tag mounted on the backing card features the specifications of the VW T3 and includes the years it was manufactured, engine sizes and layout (rear-engine, rear wheel drive).
